Covenant University launches new website

CANAANLAND, September 20, 2010. Covenant University launches a new website in collaboration with the design and development crew at Tripodwire Ltd. Tripodwire provides a host of services to CU including strategy, design and development, as well social and rich media integration.

The web redesign process was initiated more than a year ago after the authorities decided it critical to the school's mission. The new website, which is the third since inception, emphasizes core values, presents information in more organized and interactive fashion, and demonstrates CU's mission of raising a new generation of leaders. It will serve as a tool with which the institution enhances the communication bridge with alumni, students, donors, prospects and proponents of the school's elaborate core values and mission.

Amongst a host of features, the website is expected to improve the webometrics standpoint of the school by integrating key academic and educational ingredients. It provides a platform that supports academic research and collaboration between lecturers, a powerful search engine that cuts across the entire site, an index that recognizes annotations in word and pdf documents, and an interactive participation of the relevant players of the institution.

Tripodwire - previously Laitech IT - is the web design firm working tirelessly in tandem with the CPA( Corporate and Public Affairs) and the Webometrics divisions of the school in order to bring the website redesign into reality.
